Our Largest Graduating Class - 2007
We are very proud of the 2007 graduating class. As individuals, they each have a unique story, full of accomplishments. The very short descriptions provided over the next few pages only touch the surface in describing these young men and women.
This group is distinctive in several ways, the least of which is that they are the largest class of seniors that Lee Academy has graduated. They have formed a “bond” that goes far beyond that which you would expect from a group that has been “schooled” together for several years. They have genuinely enjoyed sharing this experience together, which has been evident to both faculty and students. They have set a fine example for the groups that will follow them. While we are sad to see them leave, we will follow their careers with great interest.
Guest Author-Michael Sterns
The students in the lower school were fortunate to have a guest author visit our school. Michael Sterns, author of Kokopelli and the Butterfly and Kokopelli and the Island of Change, entertained the students by creatively presenting his second book. He explained how he had to start his own publishing company to make his dream of becoming a published author come true. This experience helped students understand how to pursue their dreams and how hard work and creativity can help them reach their goals.
